Key Tasks
  • Biometric registration of beneficiaries
  • Weekly Market Price Monitoring for selected items using prepared tools; verification and entry of the data; and transmission to Nairobi;
  • Baseline and Monitoring data collection (per CBR guidelines): Guide and coordinate with District Team Leaders for data collection for using prepared tools; verification and entry of the collected data; and transmission of the data to Nairobi;
  • Post Distribution Monitoring: Guide and coordinate with M&E officer for Monthly and Quarterly PDM using prepared tools; verification and entry of the collected data; and transmission of the data to Nairobi;
  • Recording and verification of documents from the region for submission to Nairobi:
  • Village and beneficiary registration entries as per donor requirements;
  • Cash for work infrastructure information entries as per donor requirements;
  • Vouchers / payment slips; Distribution lists;
Qualifications& requirements
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use standard computing, data entry and analysis packages (word, excel, outlook, power point, internet etc);
  • Developed planning, organizational and research / analytical skills;
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience working in fast paced humanitarian programming in Somalia;
  • Bea Somali National / citizen and field experience in working in the targeted regions;
  • Be able to communicate effectively in Somali and English Language.
