The International Rescue Committee has been working in Somalia since 2006, providing essential services to conflict and disaster-affected communities. The IRC has been operational in South Central (Mudug, Galgadud, Banadir and Nugaal) regions of Somalia, implementing interventions in the areas of Livelihood, WASH and Health, GBV, Governance and Rights reaching out to more than 200,000 conflict and drought-affected population in these regions.
Scope of Work
Reporting to Storekeeper, the Pharmacy Assistant-Warehouse is responsible for ensuring the overall care, supervision and maintenance of all IRC health commodities in Mogadishu stores and Health facility pharmacies at the field level.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology with technical knowledge in drug supply chain management systems and quality assurance.
- Medical background and familiar with WHO standards
- Minimum relevant work experience of two years
- Good mathematical skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, inter-personal, writing, and communication skills required
- Good computer skills (Complete MS Office package and any database management and analysis)
Required Competencies:
- A mature person of high professional discipline and moral integrity.
- Competent to work under stress as the situation may dictate.
- Ability to work with displaced communities with diverse cultural and ethnic background.
