INTERSOS is a non-profit humanitarian aid organization that works to bring assistance to people affected by natural disasters and conflicts. Established in 1992 with support from the Italian Federation of Trade Unions, its actions are based on the values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people and respect for diversity and coexistence, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable and the unprotected. In Somalia INTERSOS is active since 1992 responding to emergencies that involve IDPs and returnees populations as well as the host community. INTERSOS currently operates in Banadir, Bay, and Middle Shabelle and Mudug regions of Somalia.
Project Overview
To support during the registration process by using the official templates; maintain updated the preparation of the INTERSOS data base of beneficiaries; support in data analysis; support in the distribution processes; support in the preparation of the reports.
The position:
In close collaboration with the UNHCR, the Registration officer will have the overall responsibility of data entering, supporting the protection and registration officers.
Main responsibilities:
the Registration officer will be required to:
· Work closely with Mogadishu way station staff in adapting
· Supporting Protection and registration officers
· Cross check information from the protection and registration officer and harmonizing common format including statistics and submit to Project Manager and Field coordinator
· Coordinate with Baidoa
· to give on-job-training new staff in Dinsor

Education: Essential:
Advanced university degree preferably Bachelor's level in IT or in another related field.
Skills:
· Good knowledge of English and computer skills. Practical knowledge of, and experience in providing technical assistance to the team.
· Ability to motivate, lead and manage a diverse team.
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with and to coordinate diverse groups of stakeholders.
· Proven ability to plan and execute training or capacity building activities
· Conscientious with ability to take initiative and work independently.
Key Deliverables
· Final report including lessons learnt challenges and recommendations.
Experience:
Essential:
· Over 2 years of experience in immunization programmes in Somalia context.
· Demonstrated experience in working with other partners on the development, planning, implementation or monitoring and evaluation.
