GENERAL FUNCTIONS
In this camp, our client provides lodging facilities, dining room services, recreational and leisure amenities to over 100 residents in state of the art containerized rooms.
The mandate of the Manager is to successfully coordinate and support all relevant activities of the Camp operations with a special emphasis on Team building, Client Management, Cost Management and Quality Health & Safety. The manager is required to have excellent Interpersonal Skills when dealing with a variety of contacts including the Client, the associates, residents and members of the public in general as it relates to the cleanliness and housekeeping operations of the facility.
In this camp, our client provides lodging facilities, dining room services, recreational and leisure amenities to over 100 residents in state of the art containerized rooms and permanent structure Kitchen and Dining Room.
The Camp/Catering manager will lead the team of chefs and catering assistants. The successful Candidate will be responsible for running the day-to-day catering operations and services in the Kitchen, Bar and dining facilities. The Camp/Catering manager will be responsible for monitoring the quality of the food and service and for making sure that their outlets perform well. The most important part of the job is achieving good quality at low cost and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.
A key aspect to the role will be to supervise Local procurement, staff and potential contacts for subsequent development within the Airport/Village food sector. Ensuring Local customs are adhered to or mitigated through the provision of any service that is contrary to their belief systems.
Duties:
The successful candidate will report to the PM and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling departmental staff, resources and activities to meet established standards and Key Performance Indicators for the Village Operations, and ensure the efficient and effective provision of Camp services.
In addition the Camp/Catering Manager:
· Maintains responsibility and accountability for Personnel Management Functions of the department by utilizing support departments such as Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety. Personnel Management includes new associate interviews, selection, hiring, evaluation and on occasion termination in accordance with our client’s Standards, Client Contract and applicable Agreements.
· Focuses on Quality Management to ensure both the standards in the Contract with the Client and Standards on Quality are met and maintained in association with the PM.
· Develops and follows appropriate policies, procedures, job routines to meet the needs of the village.
· Provides written and verbal reports on activities and statistics on a monthly basis.
· Conducts regular business reviews with clients and tracks performance weekly to KPIs.
· Drives and guides the team on quality assuring ensuring that adequate staff and supplies are available to perform said tasks
· Demonstrates visible leadership to drive safety culture and assures a safe work environment for the staff
· Responds to concerns and request with a sense of urgency and take necessary corrective action including timely follow-up.
· Update and create procedures
· Perform other duties as required.
· Liaison with other stake holders is an important aspect of this position. There will be a need for ongoing communication with HART security team, UN officials particularly those from the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) and other officials associated with the Camp.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Education
· A degree or diploma from a recognized tertiary institution.
Work Experience
· At least five (5) years of management experience, preferably in Camp/hospitality management, within food services and Life Support role.
· Working knowledge of catering and housekeeping systems and procedures.
· Demonstrate an ability to execute and deliver, managed large teams in complex environments.
· Strong financial management abilities.
· Great people management skills and labor relations experience.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS
In this camp, our client provides lodging facilities, dining room services, recreational and leisure amenities to over 100 residents in state of the art containerized rooms and permanent structure Kitchen and Dining Room.
The Admin/Fin/Inventory Officer will lead the team of Hotel Admin/Fin personnel. The primary commitment of the Admin/Fin/Inventory Officer is customer service because their efforts directly affect hotel guests and whether they return to the establishment. They oversee phone reservations and room assignments, greet and register guests and fulfill requests for special services, such as meetings or transportation. They deal with any customer problems, and may offer discounts, adjustments to bills or complimentary rooms to compensate for inconvenience. They also meet with other department managers, such as marketing and operations, to find ways of improving the guest experience.
It is the responsibility of the Admin/Fin/Inventory Officer to oversee the commercial accountability for budgeting and financial management in consultation with department heads and Camp Management.
Assist in the planning, organizing and directing of all hotel services, especially front-of-house (reception, concierge, and reservations), including coordinating stock levels (Food/Office/Cleaning) and holdings of all Village equipment with department heads.
Duties:
• To provide administrative, financial and inventory support to the Camp Management Staff.
• Maintain Village budget reports.
• Maintain Village inventory lists and supervise department stock takes.

• Supervise manual and computerized office systems.
• To supervise general office duties, for example:

Objectives and general characteristics
To assess, plan, implement and oversee nursing care at hospital level and contribute to the efficient management of the different wards/units with a special focus Maternity, ER, OT/Surgical department
Reports to:Medical Coordinator in Garowe (MC)
Areas of responsibility
· Ensure patients are cared for in a clean and safe environment taking remedial action if standards are not maintained;
· Ensure the services to patients respect the minimum quality standards and accordingly support the organization of the department in close collaboration with the Hospital Matron and MC;

POSITION SUMMARY
Adeso is seeking a qualified and committed individual to join the team as an ICT Officer for all operations in Somalia. SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ICT Infrastructure: In coordination with the program Director and Senior ICT Officer, maintain Adeso ICT Infrastructure, keeping it in optimal working condition and compliant with Adeso ICT Policy, through installation, proper configuration, regular updates, preventive maintenance, service, files backup/archiving, systems backup and disaster recovery. The Adeso ICT Infrastructure includes (but is not limited to):

Power supply and uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems, Local Area Network, hardware and software, Workstations hardware and software, Printers / Scanners / Copiers, Internet connectivity equipment, Communication equipment and any software required for the utilization and sharing of this equipment.
  2. Special Software Systems such as: Files backup software, including server and workstations files backup, archiving, recovery and off-site files backup; also system recovery tools for Servers and workstations. E-mail systems, Web applications Internet/ Intranet systems, On-line (Cloud) collaboration tools and applications, Business Applications and other Management Information Systems with associated Database systems, other software systems for special Purposes.
  3. Tools, cleaning equipment and other ICT related accessories (i.e. External disks, flash disks, Digital cameras, GPS devices, etc.)
Technical Support: In coordination with the Program Director and Senior ICT Officer, maintain the ICT Help-Desk function, including (but not limited to) receiving, assessment, prioritization, scheduling of support requests, actual work on resolving problems, obtaining external (2nd level) support, progress updates, escalation, documentation, archiving and maintenance of Knowledge Base, thus providing technical support to Adeso staff in relation to all ICT related issues.

Any other relevant duty in accordance with the Adeso ICT Policy, or delegated by any Director or Senior ICT Officer.
Where applicable, coordinate and supervise the ICT Interns and volunteers in completing delegated work in relation to these duties. Also liaise with other relevant Adeso staff, suppliers, service providers, consultants and obtain input and/or assistance required for accomplishing this duty.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Advanced University degree in an ICT related discipline
· Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a similar position
· Excellent inter-personal and general communication skills
· Ability to work with minimum supervision in a multi-cultural environment
· Fluent spoken and written English mandatory, fluent spoken Somali and Arabic are preferable
· Demonstrated effective organizational skills and ability to handle work in a timely manner
· Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with respect for diversity
· Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations
· Any of these or equivalent professional certificates would be considered an advantage:
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP)
  • Cyberoam Certified Network & Security Professional (CCNSP) or Expert (CCNSE)
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, CTP+, CTT+.
